Smoke Ventilation

ADS designed, supplied, installed and commissioned a complex mechanical smoke ventilation system at Friars Road in Coventry. The system comprised of four mechanical smoke shafts that worked together to provide a push / pull system that both extracts smoke, and inlets air dependent upon the fire location. 

ADS utilised a full control system from SE Controls and an arrangement of smoke extract dampers, facade louvred ventilators, roof mounted ventilators and reversible smoke extract fans enabled ADS to successfully commission our system. Our systems were tested to demonstarte that the system works in line with our Cause & Effect document along with our initial CFD Analysis.
