Smoke Ventilation

ADS designed, supplied, installed and commissioned a complex smoke ventilation solution to the iconic New Ludgate 1 & 2 development for Land Securties in Central London.

Our systems inlcuded four seperate mechanical smoke ventilation shafts with roof level run and standby smoke rated extract fans to provide ventilatio to the fire fighting staircore lobbies. We installed a mixture of fire rated dampers, articulated door openers, head of stairs 'Bilco' access hatches / smoke vents. To control each system we provided a dedicated 3 phase control panel with ATS that is linked to the smoke ventilation equipment, local override switches and pressure sensors within the lobby to prevent de-pressurisation.
