Architectural Louvres

ADS provided a multitude of ventilation equipment on the Telecity Data Centre development in Acton, London. 

We provided our 75EXL louvre system to the ground floor plantrooms and the roof level chimney areas. These louvres were integrated with single and double access doors and fitted with bird mesh or double skin / insulated aluminium blanking plates to the rear. ADS also provided acoustic louvres to the 1st and 2nd floor areas along with a mesh screen to the roof level parapets. 

One of the most striking features of this scheme is the vertical aluminium fins that dress the full elevation of over 150m's on the front of the plantrooms. The top bank is around 2.5m's in height and the bottom bank is over 5.5m's. ADS provided our 400mm aerofoil blades to span the required distance and they are fitted with specialist end caps to hold the blades in place and allow for thermal expansion.
