It is with great sadness for us to announce the passing of Alan Clare.

Alan passed away on Friday 8th October after a short battle with his illness.

Alan Clare was ‘Mr ADS’ having founded the company in 1993 and successfully run it until 2018.

He was passionate about life safety systems and the work that ADS carried out. He was a true gentleman with an infectious character and a great sense of humour. Alan touched many people’s lives both personally and professionally.

He will be a huge miss to us all, but his legacy will live on through ADS.

We will be forever grateful to have had him in our lives.

Alan’s funeral will take place on Friday the 29th October. There will be a short service at Our Lady of the Rosary, Shotley Bridge which, due to Covid restrictions, will be by invitation for immediate family only.

The main service will be held at Mountsett Crematorium and will take place at 1:15pm. All are welcome but there is limited capacity at the crematorium and we are expecting quite a large gathering.

After the service all are welcome to join us for a reception at The Derwent Manor Hotel, Allensford.
