ADS Update - 17-05-2017

We have been very busy!

There are lots of changes happening here at ADS right now. We have had a new telephone system installed, new IT infrastructure, a new Sage based Construction management system (by Eque2) and new faces in the office. We also have a new website in the pipeline too, so watch this space...

We have been very busy with some fantastic projects around the country. These include the following key projects...

Smoke Ventilation -

IKEA Sheffield - after our successful installation and commissioning at IKEA Reading, we were successful in our tender for Sheffield. This is currently on site and the mechanical and natural smoke ventilation systems are progressing very well.

HMP North Wales - This is ADS' largest project to date. We have completed the mechanical smoke ventilation systems to all of the House blocks and the specialist CASU block on programme.

New Bridge St. Newcastle - This large student accommodation development in the center of Newcastle consists of 3 large blocks with ADS mechanical smoke shafts and natural ventilation systems throughout.

B&Q, Edge Lane., Liverpool - ADS have provided a full smoke ventilation system to the new retail development on the outskirts of Liverpool. Following the success of our previous B&Q installation in Merthyr, Wales; ADS were appointed for the 18 No. large twin flap ventilators and control system required.

Louvres -

Colt Data Centre, Welwyn Garden City - ADS have installed thousands of square meters of our EXL continuous louvre systems to the new data centre facility. We have installed large facade louvres along with large ventilation turrets on the roof.

The Point Data Centre, London - ADS are on site at another large data centre in the London Docklands. This project has very large SL100 screening louvres along with ground level EXL ventilation louvres.

Brise Soleil -

Echo Barn, Maidstone, Kent - this private residence has the Renson Linius Wood system installed around the building perimeter to give the building a striking timber facade and reduce the effect of solar gain into the building.

Natural Ventilation -

Hotung Gallery, British Museum, London - ADS have been involved in the specification of the natural ventilation units required for the above scheme to the mechanical consultants. We have since been appointed by the successful contractor to provide our integrated, louvre / insulated damper / internal cover grilles to the single glazed glass replacements to the Grade 1 listed building.

We are also having an annual ADS golf day at Slaley Hall on the 16th June. This year we will be inviting key suppliers and clients along for the day. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to join us for the day...
